Project VisMO
3i Process
The 3i process is a three step process that helps students break down spatial information, make a prediction and investigate whether their prediction is accurate.
Identify
At the Identify stage students are tasked with annotating what they notice about the image or object.
Investigate
At the final stage of the process the students can then test their predictions of the image or object's transformation by manipulating their origami unit or model.
imagine
Once students have broken down the image to its parts and features, they are tasked with sketching what the image or object would look like after it is transformed through folding, cutting or rotating.
